I have to admit, this book caught my eye with two things: the word "Princess" and picture of a girl in a beautiful dress. Had I grown up in the era of Disney Princesses, I would have been convinced I was one of them. I love the stories, the idea of living in a castle and of course, the beautiful clothes. As you might imagine, when I picked up this book it wasn't for an intellectual challenge - it was for pure enjoyment and that's exactly what I found. It's a retelling of the fairy tale "Twelve Dancing Princesses" and just like all fairy tales, it's an easy read with a very predictable story line. I loved it! I will definitely be reading more from this author.
